Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Kas Wallet (the "App"), a self-custodial cryptocurrency wallet for the Kaspa network. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Self-Custody and Your Responsibility

Kas Wallet is a non-custodial wallet. Your recovery phrase and private keys are generated and stored on your device. We do not have access to them, cannot recover them if you lose them, and cannot reverse, cancel, or refund any transaction you sign.

  • You are solely responsible for safeguarding your recovery phrase.
  • You are solely responsible for the transactions you authorize.
  • Loss of your device without a backup of your recovery phrase means loss of your funds.

2. No Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice

The App provides tools to hold, send, and receive KAS, and to view publicly available market data. Nothing in the App or on this website constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Cryptocurrency values are volatile and you may lose money.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the App. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with all laws applicable to you, including local cryptocurrency regulations, sanctions, and tax laws.

4. Third-Party Services

To function, the App communicates with a public Kaspa node (for balances and broadcasting) and a public price API (for market data). These services are operated by third parties and are provided on an as-is basis. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or content.

5. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the App for any unlawful activity.
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App beyond what applicable law expressly permits.
  • Do not use the App to violate the rights of others.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, source code, name, and logos, is owned by its developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right in our trademarks or branding.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE AGAINST ALL POSSIBLE THREATS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF FUNDS, DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP (WHICH IS ZERO).

9. Apple-Specific Terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the developer of Kas Wallet, and not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you where you live.
